Basics
FULL NAME: Dennis James Creevy
NICKNAMES: D or DJ are the only ones he's heard. He's commonly called Creevy within the army.
AGE: 23
BIRTHDAY: September 4th, 1982
BLOOD STATUS: Muggleborn
CREATURE STATUS: Human
Family/Relationships
PARENTS: Jane & Harold Creevy
SIBLINGS: Colin (deceased) two years older, Jessica - four years younger, showed no signs of magic.
CHILDREN: None
EXTENDED FAMILY: All muggles. After the war, Dennis pulled away from his family and hasn't spoken to them since.
FRIENDS: Ever since Dennis returned from war he hasn't really known how to make friends. He's distant because he's awkward and shy, as well as being unable to fully connect with someone. His friendships are superficial; he'll smile and make small talk, maybe go for a pint or two, but the second someone becomes an ST, Dennis won't hold back because they "used to be friends". At the moment, Dennis prefers muggle company, and his real friends are all currently in Afghanistan.
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
SIGNIFICANT OTHER: None
Living Arrangement and Occupation
LOCATION: London
CURRENT RESIDENCE: Tiny flat above a convenience store. It's very noisy, but it's cheap.

OCCUPATION: Direct advisor to Mssr Diggory's authority and the Magical Army of Britain. Specializes in torturing and training.
OCCUPATION HISTORY: After the war and Colin's death, Dennis joined the British Army. He learned quickly, and found he enjoyed all his training. In 1999 Dennis wanted to go to Kosovo with the British Army, but he hadn't completed his training. In 2001 Dennis went to Afghanistan as part of the Operation Enduring Freedom with American soldiers. In 2004 when Dennis caught word of the Magical Army of Britain he wrote to the Ministry and acquired about finding work with them. He was hired on and returned to England.
Education
HOUSE/YEAR: Completed muggle education before Hogwarts. Was sorted into Gryffindor; finished his first three years before he was removed for his safety. Did not return after the war.
Politics
LOYALTY/ALLIANCE: Ministry

STATUS: Muggleborn / Legal Citizen

POLITICAL VIEWS: Dennis agrees with absolutely everything the Ministry has been promoting to the wizarding world. He thinks Death Eaters, purebloods, and Death Eater sympathizers are the world's scum. He believes they are terrorists, and they either need to be contained or eradicated. The wizarding world is not safe when they are running around. Pure blood is dangerous. Not only is it corrupt with incestuous lines, they have been brainwashed into thinking they are royalty of the wizarding world, which could not be any more untrue.
Appearance
APPEARANCE: Dennis has never been described as 'stunning' 'handsome' or 'beautiful'. He was born into a family of average to below-average looking people, and Dennis was certainly not the family's shining star. Dennis has mousy brown hair that doesn't stand out with greyish eyes that no one remembers to match. To top it all off, his hair dries into a curly blob of a mess that he couldn't be bothered to do anything about. He refuses to cut it, though. His eyebrows are too awkward, his jaw too square, and his face too squishy for anyone to give him a second or third glance. Dennis the type of guy who benefits from beer goggles and desperation, not from lust, want, or need. He stands at average to below-average height, and the only thing Dennis has that is above average is his strength. From years of conditioning and training, Dennis' arms and legs are strong and defined. His eyesight is also 20/20, and a trait of his he's rather proud of. Otherwise, there's essentially nothing special or eye-popping about him.
Personality
WAND: 9 ⅓ inch rosewood, Threstal tail hair core
BOGGART: His brother appears and becomes angry with Dennis for not avenging his death, being a disappointment, and being dead to him. Dennis has never successfully beaten a boggart, and this image would reduce him to tears.
PATRONUS: More often or not Dennis merely creates silvery wisps, sometimes it forms a puppy-like head, but is never fully formed
LIKES: Muggle inventions, being a muggle, being at war, video games
DISLIKES: Purebloods, terrorists, having free time,

STRENGTHS: Planning, committing to things/ideas
WEAKNESSES: Magic, understanding the point of view of others,

DETAILED PERSONALITY: When Colin died, everything inside of Dennis fell apart. His depression over having lost the one person he'd lived life to the fullest for led Dennis to the military. There his entire personality was molded, shifted, and changed. Dennis had been vulnerable when he entered into the Military, thus making him a perfect candidate to train. As the ways of the military was drilled into him everyday, he began to internalize and appreciate them. His routine was strict; every minute of every hour was accounted for. Everything had a reason. Every punishment was avoidable if you followed the rules. The Military had a purpose, a focus, and became a home for Dennis. Not Dennis & Colin, not the Creevys, but for Dennis by himself. He identified with and respected his superiors, but he idolized no one. The loss of Colin had rocked him, and Dennis would never make that mistake again.

When Dennis shipped off to war, his personality again shifted. He'd had plenty of practice and completed countless scenarios, but when Dennis saw that body crumple to the ground at the end of his gun he felt alive. Finally he was able to make a name for himself, and for Colin. Terrorists were dying at his hand, which meant he was saving lives. Not only that, but he was saving other boys from losing their brothers. Dennis hated being back at camp, he lived for his time in the trenches, tanks, and jeeps. The time when he was completing missions and killing terrorists.

Dennis had trouble truly connecting with any of his 'brothers' at war. A few got on well with him, but he was weary about making friendships. He knew there was a good chance he wasn't coming home from war, and therefore a good chance none of these men were either. He'd already lost one brother, he wasn't about to make that same mistake again. As time went on, Dennis turned inwards. He said all the right things, but he felt nothing for these men. There was no sense of loyalty beyond fighting for the same side; had one of them turned on him he would have no problem turning the gun and shooting him in the head. Dennis was a loner, and he enjoyed being such. Trust was too easily corrupt - he'd read the history books and seen traitors first hand.

Within the Ministry, Dennis has kept his Military mentality. He's strict with training schedules. Although he cannot simply kill Terrorists, he has been given the opportunity to torture and maim quite a few. Remorse was drilled out of him within the British Army, and Dennis never feels bad about leaving STs bloody, beaten, and on the verge of death. Genders and ages hardly matter; danger is danger, no matter what form it comes in.
History
BEFORE HOGWARTS: Dennis was the second son born to Jane and Harold Creevy. His father was a milkman, his mother occasionally did some at-home work when it was available, but for the most part the Creevy's lived a life of middle to low class income, in an old rotting home they couldn't afford to fix properly. His clothes and toys came from Colin and second-hand stores, but it never bothered Dennis. He adored his brother, and wore his old clothes with pride. Dennis' pre-school life was Colin's shadow. The boy followed his older brother around like a puppy dog, and Colin never once asked him to go away or leave him alone. As the boys grew, they grew close. Dennis would rush home from school everyday to hear all about what Colin had just learned. Occasionally their younger sister would listen in, but she enjoyed playing with dolls and the neighbour's female children more than her brothers. When Colin turned nine years old, he received a camera for Christmas. The brothers were fascinated with the toy and took pictures of absolutely everything. It was the only object Colin own that was new. Dennis' parents promised he could have one of his own when he turned nine as well. The day Colin's Hogwarts letter came, Dennis was conflicted. He was absolutely devastated Colin would be leaving him - but magic! Dennis put on a happy face and made Colin promise to write and send pictures, even though he was torn up inside. Summers and holidays weren't long enough. But then, his own Hogwarts letter came and Dennis was able to get on the Express alongside his brother!

HOGWARTS: When Dennis stepped off the Express, he was separated from Colin and put into a rickety boat to cross the lake. Dennis was excited, nervous, and terrified, and could not sit still. When the boat hit what would be called a tiny wave, Dennis was already on his feet and unsettled, and he toppled into the water. He was lifted out of it by Merlin knows what (Colin assumes the squid) and escaped death for not the first time in his life. At the feast, Dennis was sorted into Gryffindor with his brother, and he could not have been any happier.

In Gryffindor, Dennis found himself teamed up with a boy named Nigel, and not caring for his other roommates. Not only did they not idolize Colin, they couldn't care less about HARRY POTTER! Dennis spent his time at Hogwarts following around Colin and Harry, producing mediocre magic, and genuinely enjoying his time. Dennis wasn't a star by any means with magic, but he did alright for himself. He attended all school events, was featured in many of his brother's pictures, and played wizard games. It was surreal and amazing, and beyond Dennis' wildest imaginations.

Until You-Know-Who made his rise. Colin did not return for his fourth year of school, and neither did Colin. The brothers stayed at home, went to muggle school, and essentially hid. When the war broke out, Colin made sure Dennis remained at their parents' house while he went to fight with Harry Potter. Dennis was on edge the entire night. He just knew something back was going to happen. And it did. Colin never returned from that battle, and Dennis' entire world shattered.

AFTER THE WAR: Immediately after Colin's death, Dennis spiralled into a deep depression. What was he going to do with himself? Colin had been his entire life. Everything Dennis did had been to impress Colin, and now he was gone? Dennis felt empty and useless. His family was no help - his sister got over their brother's death first and Dennis resented her for it. Eventually life moved on. No one grieved for Colin anymore, they had family dinners, removed his belongings, and went on with their lives. Dennis couldn't. He began to hate his family for moving on and forgetting Colin.

Dennis' hate drew him outside of his family. He'd never considered it before, but when a pamphlet for the British Army came into Colin's possession, he didn't think twice. Dennis joined the army and went into training camp (not before he changed a couple documents making himself older, though). He worked hard for his accomplishments, and though he started as a stringy boy, Colin ended up with muscle, definition, and confidence. In 2001 Dennis shipped out to Afghanistan, and the boy who idolized his brother was left in Britain. Now Dennis would avenge his brother. Terrorists would be eradicated. If Dennis couldn't save the wizarding world, he would do his damnedest to keep the muggle world safe.

In 2004 it seemed Dennis would be able to combine his military skills with his wizard blood. He wrote to the Ministry practically begging a job to help develop the Magical Army of Britain. They accepted, and Dennis left the British Army and returned to London. From there, Dennis has quickly worked his way up the ranks within the Ministry.
